Forum for Understanding: Finding Our Connections

Participate in a Lively Facilitated Discussion

Join us as we explore how people who disagree can find ways to be both understood and listened to. Discover what's possible in our divided world

  • Be a participant: Even if you can't stand what they’re saying or how they’re thinking, and you absolutely will never in a million years agree with them!
  • Be an observer and offer ideas on what might work to keep the conversation going.
  • Bring your own ideas and learn different ways to have difficult conversations.

When: Friday, July 18, 2025, 6:30p - 7:30p

Where: Community Room, Cupertino Library, 10800 Torre Avenue, Cupertino, CA 95014

Facilitated by: Nancy J. Ross, LCSW, BCD: Nancy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, psychotherapist, communication skills specialist, and trained mediator with over 40 years of experience. She is a co-founder of the Collaborative Interdisciplinary Team Practice model, now practiced in over 48 states and 24 countries, and currently teaches and trains professionals in the model, both for divorce and estate issues.
